Alan Thrasher

Muscle Activation Specialist

Born with Cerebral Palsy, Alan’s mother was told he would never live.  When he lived, they said he would never walk, which was not unusual for children with Cerebral Palsy. However, when he learned to walk Alan developed a passion for how mechanics, nutrition and energy play a role in health and vitality. As a result, he went on to represent Canada at the World Championships in Belgium in both track and field and cycling.

Alan has worked as a consultant to hockey players like Eric Lindros and for fitness clubs like Good Life Fitness Clubs of Canada, The Fitness Institute and Whyte’s Fitness.  Today, Alan, with a diploma in Fitness and Leisure Management and continues his studies of biomechanics and nutrition. Since 2006 has been a certified Muscle Activation Specialist. Alan’s upcoming book on health and vitality, Diseases: The Body’s Answers to Bad Habits, will revolutionize the health industry. His passion is educating people about the simple way to health through nutrition and fitness.
